Polar Plunge 2024

The 2024 Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Indiana is in the books. Members of the Washington County Sheriff's Department joined the Washington County Chillers Team this year and took the plunge this past Saturday, at Deam Lake in Borden, Indiana.
Sandy Durham Shields, spokeswoman for the Washington County Chillers said the group had a record year. Shields said there were 58 people, who registered on line to be on the Washington County Chillers Team and 34 people, who actually took the plunge. The team raised more than $14,050 this year. THANK YOU to everyone who donated to any member of the Washington County Chillers Team.
