On the morning of Thursday, November 23, 2023, Deputies Brad Naugle and Tory Hildreth responded to the call of an individual possibly experiencing a heart attack on the side of the roadway. Both deputies responded and deemed the individual to be pulseless with agonal breathing and initiated CPR until the arrival of EMS and fire personnel. Because of the actions of these deputies, the aforementioned individual made a full recovery and is back home with his family. Had these deputies not jumped into action, it could have been a very grim ending to this story. Both deputies exhibited a professional attitude, calm demeanor and life preserving skills. All of these qualities are attributes of a true public servant.
