THANK YOU WASHINGTON COUNTY!
Sheriff Brent Miller would like to thank the Salem Walmart Store and the Salem JayC Store for once again partnering with the Sheriffs Department for the"CRAM THE CRUISER FOOD DRIVE" to prevent hunger this Christmas. "We had another very successful year" said Sheriff Brent Miller. The Food Drive collected 3,967 items of food and $2,147.10 in cash and checks.
Sheriff Miller collected at the Walmart Store and was assisted by the Pekin 4th of July Queen Kylie Batt, Reserve Officer Roger Morin, Layla Morin and Trenton Miller. Captain Joe Keltner and Reserve Officer Dan Libka collected at the JayC Store.
The food items and money were donated to the Washington County Food Bank, located on Water Street in Salem.
