DETAILS:

On Monday September 25th at approximately 5:53 pm, emergency services members responded to State Rd 60 East in reference to a vehicle crash that had taken out several telephone and internet poles. On scene, it was determined that a White Ford Escape, driven by Bobbie Jackson of Salem, had ran off the roadway and into (2) utility poles. Jackson stated that she had a medical episode that caused her to lose consciousness briefly while driving causing her to run off the roadway. Jackson was transported to St. Vincent Hospital by ambulance to be treated for non-life threatening injuries from the crash.

The roadway was shut down for several hours while utility workers removed the cables from the roadway and placed new poles.
