TYPE OF OCCURRENCE: Rollover Car Wreck

DETAILS:  

On 7/5/2023, at 8:07pm Deputies were dispatched to east state Rd 56 in reference to a red Chevrolet Cruz driving off the roadway on the North side of State Rd 56. The vehicle struck several trees before coming to a stop. The vehicle was then engulfed in flames. The driver, later identified as Toby Sowder of Salem, then managed to crawl out of the vehicle. EMS then arrived on scene and treated Toby for his injuries on scene with him declining to be transported to the Hospital. Toby advised he was having a medical issue that caused him to black out prior to the crash.
