DETAILS: On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at approximately 8:31pm, Deputies with the Washington County Sheriffs Department responded to the area of East State Road 60 near the intersection of Voyles Road in reference to a single motor vehicle crash with injury. Upon arrival at the scene, deputies observed a 1996 maroon Toyota Tercel with extensive damage off the north side of State Rd 60. The driver of the Toyota was identified as Brenda Daniel, age 64 of New Albany, Indiana. Evidence at the scene along with witness statements indicated Daniel was traveling east bound on State Road 60 when her vehicle crossed left of center and ran off the north side of the roadway. The Toyota then struck the embankment, rolled over, and came to rest on its wheels. Daniel was transported to University of Louisville Hospital by Air Ambulance for injuries which were not believed to be life threatening.
