 TYPE OF OCCURRENCE: Possession of Methamphetamine

DETAILS:

 

On Monday October 3, 2022, Deputy Dawson Easterday conducted a traffic stop on State Road 60 at Blue River Bridge on a vehicle with no working tail lights. During the traffic stop Captain Chad Webb with the Salem Police Department and K9 Zuma arrived on scene to conduct an open-air sniff around the vehicle. K9 Zuma alerted to the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle. Located inside of the vehicle was approximately 21.33 grams of methamphetamine. Ethan Black of Salem, Indiana was arrested and booked into the Washington County Detention Center for Possession ofMethamphetamine a Level 4 Felony.
