DETAILS:

 

On Saturday September 24th at approximately 4:38pm, Deputies were dispatched to Quaker Rd in reference to a motorcycle crash. Dispatch advised that the motorcycle had tipped over on a curve near Trueblood Lane. The motorcycle was driven by Troy Johnson of Scottsburg with his wife, Destaney Johnson on the back. Troy stated that he was taking the curve near Trueblood Lane when Destaney jerked slightly to the right causing the foot peg of the bike to go down. Troy stated he then steered the bike off of the roadway and into the nearby grass. Troy stated the bike then tipped over with Destaney falling off and injuring her arm. Destaney was transported by Washington County Ambulance to Scott County Hospital for treatment.
