DETAILS:  

 

At approximately 7:08pm, Washington County Deputies and emergency response personnel were dispatched to the area of 3587 S Wilson Road in reference to a single motor vehicle accident with injuries and entrapment.

 

Charles Hobson, age 49, of Hardinsburg, Indiana, and his juvenile passenger were traveling south on Wilson Road in a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Hobson's vehicle ran off the east side of the roadway and struck a tree. Hobson was entrapped in his vehicle. Livonia Volunteer Fire Department along with the Washington County Ambulance Service removed Hobson from the vehicle. Hobson's juvenile passenger received minor injuries.

 

Hobson and his juvenile passenger were both transported to Saint Vincent Hospital in Salem for injuries not believed to be life threatening.
